If you have any questions regarding the Daywatcher's usage, please check the following list to see if your issue is addressed:



The Inside Unit sometimes displays "EEE" on the outdoor temperature screen.

On occasion, the signal from the outdoor sensor to the Daywatcher Inside Unit will get interrupted. As long as "EEE" isn't constantly being displayed, this is part of the normal operation.

The Inside Unit always displays "EEE" on the outdoor temperature screen.

The Inside Unit and the Outdoor Sensor may not be communicating correctly. Ensure that the Unit and Sensor are no more than 100 feet from each other, and that they are properly aligned.

The batteries are drained. Replace the 3 AA batteries in the outside unit with new ones.

Communication may need to be restarted. After checking the batteries outside, un-plug the inside Unit and re-connect the power supply. Wait 30 seconds for the screen to refresh.

The batteries in the Outdoor Sensor need to be replaced.

How do I change the End-of-Year/Daily Reset Time?

Units manufactured after April, 2009 can already do this – see manual. Older Units require an update to firmware level 3.52 or higher.

How do I change the base temperature to something other than 65 degrees?
