POSSIBLE PROBLEMS
First, we need to identify what kind
of model you have. All our meters have the model number D-10, FD-50,
F-90, or F-90H on them except for our oldest meters - the ZZW's.
The ZZW's have a serial number rather than a model number. The F-90
and F-90H are gray colored, the D-10 and FD-50 are either cream, black,
or blue colored, and the ZZW's are a brown color.
If you have a D-10 or FD-50, there
are no tests that you can do for it. You'll have to send your meter
into our service center for testing and repair. Click HERE

POSSIBLE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR F-90 OR ZZW WITH HEAT ONLY

If your meter is not accumulating any
degree days, check the power supply. Click HERE
for instructions on how the check the cable and connections.
If the false readings continue after checking the cable, complete TEST
1.

If your meter is accumulating approximately
100 degree days per day, complete TEST 2.

If your meter is accumulating too many
degree days, complete TEST 1.

If your meter is not accumulating enough
degree days, send the outside unit to our service center for recalibration.

If your meter is accumulating an erratic
number of degree days, complete TEST 1. For
the best results, Test 1 should be completed for 24 hours.

If your meter is accumulating the proper
number of degree days, but the lights don't seem to work, call our manufacturing
facility and we will expedite a new light bulb.

HOT WATER

If your meter is not accumulating any
degree days on either counter, check the power supply then complete TEST
1 and TEST 3.

degree days on the 'heat only' counter, click HERE

on the 'heat only' counter than the 'heat & hot water' counter, complete

If your meter is accumulating the proper
number of degree days, but the lights don't seem to work, call our manufacturing
facility and we will expedite new light bulbs.

If your meter is not accumulating any
degree days and the power light is off with the meter plugged in, the fuse
is blown. Call our service center at (269) 343-1221 for instructions
on replacing the fuse.

If your meter is not accumulating degree
days on the heat & hot water counter and the add buttons don't work,
perform TEST 1 for 3-4 minutes. Then try
the add buttons again. If they work, the problem is fixed, otherwise
send the inside unit into our service center for testing and repair.
