TEST 2
1. Unplug the
meter from the outlet.
2. Complete this
step at the junction box located at the outside unit. Detach the
inside unit form the
outside unit by disconnecting the black, white, and green wires.
A flat head screwdriver is needed
to remove the cover from the junction box.
3. Leave all three
wires disconnected.
4. Plug the meter
back into the outlet.
5. For the best
results the test should be run for 24 hours. If your meter begins
to add any
counts to the 'heat only' counter, refer to the test result indications
below.
TEST RESULT

The correct results for the F-90
is no counts.

The correct results for the F-90H is six
counts in 24 hours on only the 'heat & hot water' counter. Approximately
one count every four hours. The test may produce one count less or
one count more that six depending on how close the meter was to adding
a count when the test was started.

Example] If the test
is run for 28 hours, the meter should accumulate 6-8 degree days.
TEST RESULT INDICATIONS
